The Japan America Society (JAST) was formed in 1981 in order to provide for the betterment of relations between our two nations and also to establish more fluid cultural exchanges between the people of Japan and America.Throughout the calendar year, JAST develops and sponsors programs on Japan-U.S. related topics. Each of these programs is open to all those who are interested in our purposes, both English-speaking and Japanese-speakers alike.
The Japan America Society of Tucson is one of over twenty such societies in the U.S. mainland and Hawaii, and welcomes visitors from those organizations.
Tucson is located in Arizona, in the Southwest USA, near Mexico and California.
