Pastor Masayuki (Mac) Isomine and his wife Yoko came to San Jose in 1999 to start a new Japanese church. “We used to pastor two churches in Yachimata and Yotsukaido, Chiba, near Narita International Airport for 20 years before we moved here, so we are getting old. I was born in 1936 in Yamagata, Japan, was saved by reading the novel written by Dr. Toyohiko Kagawa, “A Corn of Wheat”, when I was 18 years old. I never wanted to be a Gospel worker even after I became a Christian, I was raised in a poor family and I wanted to be rich, but our Lord Jesus changed my life! Yes, He always tells us, Follow me and I will make you become fishers of men.
